Disneyland:

Pixar Pier finally has an opening date and that is June 23, 2018! So literally right around the corner.

The new Pixar Pier sign has the Luxo Lamp which sits on top of the sign looks it is actually a spotlight which would be really cool.

A new Incredibles themed float for Paint the Night will be premiering in June. As a side note April 23 is when PTN comes back to the parks but the new float wont premier until June.

Walt Disney World:

The upcoming Star Wars hotel will seemingly attach to Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. This will be like the California Grand and California Adventure which I find pretty cool.

The Guardians of the Galaxy attraction that will be opening up in EPCOT’s Future World will be a rollercoaster. In fact, the upcoming GOTG attraction will be the worlds longest indoor rollercoaster ever. The new innovated ride system is said to guarantee to WOW guests. It is said to open on the 50th anniversary in 2021.

Iron-Man-Rock-‘n’-Roller-Coaster-615x346.jpg

Rock N’ Rollercoaster  will be re-imagined  to an Iron Man and Avengers themed attraction which I find AMAZING! I think this will be a positive update even though I love Aerosmith, I find an Iron Man/Avengers themed ride will be mind blowing!

Hong Kong Disneyland:

A new attraction is heading to Hong Kong Disneyland and it will be themed Ant Man and The Wasp. Personally, I feel like it should be an interesting attraction and I wonder if they will be using any technology or similar technology from Its Tough To Be A Bug and Stitch’s Great Escape on the attractions where we will feel Ant Man and The Wasp running around?

What is your favorite and least favorite updates coming to the Parks? Let me know in the comments below!

25 Days of Christmas 2017: Day 15

The iconic Dinsey California Adventure attraction California Screamin’ will be getting a bit of makeover in a pretty incredible new coaster called “The Incredacoaster.” The remake will keep its existing structure but add a few new elements themed around the superhero family The Incredibles, which has a sequel slotted to open July 14, 2018.

california-screamin

California Screamin’ was built from steel and opened with the park in 2001. Designed to resemble an old fashion rollercoaster from the 1920’s pleasure piers. The track is more than one mile long and takes riders from 0-55 mph in four seconds.

The Incredible, humorous collection of superheroes each with their own special gifts, will race alongside riders trying to catch their baby Jack Jack. The existing tunnels on the ride will be enclosed and Mrs. Incredible also known as Elastagirl will stretch over the heads of guest trying to catch her baby.

The loading area will be a soaring glass mid-century-modern building inspired by the families home in the movie. Music will come from the new Incredibles 2 movie coming to theaters in summer 2018. Personally, I am excited about both the attraction and the ride. It seems like a great update and will have a lot of people lining up to see The Incredacoaster!

13 Nights of Halloween: Disneyland Haul

This trip was well needed. Although it was a quick trip, it felt so long, magical and perfect! The only thing I wanted to do was spend all of my money and ride Haunted Mansion Holiday which I did. So here is everything I bought! I was so excited to get the glow cubes and nearly had a heart attack from the poison apple glow cube because EVERYONE  said it they ran out thankfully the Mint Julep bar and the Red Rose Tavern had some and I was able to collect it!

Aside from the clothes above, I also bought a t-shirt from Mickey’s Halloween Party 2017 and a hat that says ‘Ghost Host’ on the front, and I adore them so much I had them both on and forgot to take a picture of them…What are some things you like collecting when you visit the parks? Let me know in the comments below!

13 Nights of Halloween: Disneyland?!

It’s time to hang up my adulting jacket and trade it in for my AP, which has been sitting nicely in my wallet collecting cobwebs.  If you haven’t guessed it, I booked a last minute trip to the one and only happiest place on earth Disneyland! All this school and homework is slowly nipping away at me, so why not pull out the old AP and take a spontaneous trip to Disneyland…it’s reasonable! So here are my top 5 things I can’t wait to get my hands on or do when I get there!

1.Glow Things

I am obsessed with glowy stuff, so I can’t wait to get a cars jack-o-lantern, the headless horseman straw clip, and the poison apple!

2.Buckets, Pins, and Steins! Oh MY!

Oogie Boogie is one of my favorite characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas so I am going to try and get his popcorn bucket. I also would love to pick up some Halloween party pin of the headless horseman and some Nightmare before Christmas surprise packs. I would also love to bring home the poison apple stein because I have been wanting it for years!

3.Shirts

I want to get my hands on some Halloween park merch, so some t-shirts. Also even though it’s not Christmas I really want one of the Christmas shirts they just released because I fell in love.

4.Food

You cant go to Disneyland without a long list of holiday foods to try and even though I am not feeling the best, Disney food is magical! I would like to get the Mummy Maccarone, CARacchnoid pot pie, dreamsicle beignets, slow burnin’ mac and cheese, and green apple spell lemonade boba.

5.Rides

Holiday overlay rides for me are a must, so I’m looking forward to Haunted Mansion Holiday, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, and of course GOTG: Monsters After Dark!

What is your favorite Holiday thing to do at the parks? Let me know in the comments below!

DOGtober 2017: Day 13

Starting in two days on Oct. 15, dogs are welcomed at these four  Walt Disney World Hotels:

  • Art of Animation Resort $50/night
  • Port Orleans Riverside Resort $50/night
  • Yacht Club Resort $75/night
  • Cabins at Disney’s Ft. Wilderness Resort $50/night

Guests are allowed a maximum of two dogs per room, and each guest will have access to pet walkways for exercise and green spaces with pet relief areas. During the dog lovers check in our furry friends will receive a Plutos Welcome Kit that includes:

  • A mat
  • Bowls
  • Pet ID tag
  • Plastic disposable bags
  • Puppy pads
  • Pluto’s “Do Not Disturb” sign to notify the staff that a pet is in the room.

Disney also has a partnership with Best Friends Petcare which is an on property full-service pet facility that assists with pet daycare and other pet services (fees apply). Pets will be allowed to stay in guests rooms but expected to be well behaved, on a leash in public resort areas and of course adequately vaccinated. Also, pet merchandise will soon be coming to the participating resorts!

Not being able to have a dog-friendly hotel was my only complaint about visiting WDW, and now I can go more often and not have to find a babysitter for my little love bugs because they will be with me in my hotel room! They have already experienced five years of Disneyland trips and now get to enjoy all of our WDW trips too! What are your thoughts about this new change? Let me know in the comments below!
