This has to be my favorite POTC movie because of  Jack’s jar of dirt with the thump thump. Dead Man’s Chest the second of the POTC series was released June 26, 2006. During the filming process the cast and crew had to be evacuated to LA because of Hurricane Wilma.

You can find the Flying Dutchman ship at Castaway Cay, in June 2006 is when they towed the ship which is now on display for guests.

Davy jones had originally been designed with chin growths before the designers made the move to full blow tentacles. His skin incorporates the textures of a coffee stained styrofoam cup among other elements.

The scene when Jack calls the Flying Dutchman “Fishmates” and sings to them “I got a jar of dirt” was actually unscripted and it was improvised by Johnny Depp most of the reactions of the rest of the characters are real.

Tim Burton contributes some of the conceptual designs of several crew members aboard the Flying Dutchman.

When the word “Tortuga” is set on fire on the deck, it is written in the trademark Disney font.

When Mr. Gibbs is enlisting new recruits at the tavern, a bunch of men are pulling a man out of a well, and he slowly spits out water. This is a recreation of a scene in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the Walt Disney theme parks.

Davy Jones the main villain does not physically appear until exactly one hour into the film.

This has to be my favorite POTC movie because i love all the fighting and joking in this movie. The cast is amazing as always, i just find the storyline stands out a lot more to me even though i think all four movies are amazing and can repeatedly watch them over and over again!
